Immediately after, I took this shot.  This is probably too sad an ending for the happy Photojojo contest, and that’s okay. But I have always been so proud of this photo, for many reasons. I’m sharing it here with you (again). So many endings wrapped up in one. Read more here. (For what it’s worth, one year later I still love and miss her of course. I always will. I just noticed on Steph Goralnick’s Tumblr - she’s judging today’s Pic Pick - that we should only post one entry - and it looks like it should definitely be a diptych. Whoops! So I took the tag off my second one and am saving it, in case they do a double exposure day. 

Hey, Photojojo and Tumblr staff, can you please make the Pic Pick page a little clearer with respect to the “only submit one” part? I wouldn’t have been a jerk and posted multiple, had I known!
