My mom commented on it: “It’s beautiful how you have framed the father’s back, glowing as the brightest thing in the growing night, as if he were the moon, guiding his child.”  For your birthday, I hope a Ligurian moon glows just as brightly, and guides you to a harbor as beautiful and safe as this.   Much, much love. xox
