The Doctor is In.
True story: When I was 8? 9? something (I didn’t say factually accurate story, I said true), my family went to England for a vacation. We stayed in a lot of bed and breakfasts.
In the first town we stayed, we learned there was a museum we might like to visit. It was, we were told, a “stuffed animal museum.” Being 8 (or 9), I was thrilled at this idea. A stuffed animal museum! Hooray! I was dying to go, dying, begging, please, we must. And so we did.
You can imagine my surprise and also horror at discovering room after room, cabinet after cabinet, crammed with delightful tableaux of small, taxidermied and - yes - stuffed animals. Squirrels, strolling down an avenue in Victorian garb! Kittens, enjoying a lovely game of croquet! Puppies, taking afternoon tea!
Not a single Muppet in sight.

Can you hear me, Dr. Wu? Are you really just a shadow of the man that I once knew? Are you crazy? Are you high? Or just an ordinary guy?
